Sketchabilities Sketch #100!!!

Here is my take on the sketch!

 

I had fun with  this one :)  I new when I saw the sketch I wanted to use this paper from AdornIt!  I just loved the sun in the corner!

I just got back from a week long vacation, where I had no internet!  I am still trying to catch up on the time change and the laundry!  So I am sharing my post from Genuinly Jane Studios, Ihope you enjoy!

 

When you walk into my house, you see an empty wall.  I struggled with that wall.  After five years of living in my house I finally picked the perfect color for it, so now I have a perfectly painted empty wall.  I knew that one day I would find the perfect something to hang on my wall….when I saw the banner mini album, I knew I had found my something!
I covered the banners with paper, vellum, modeling paste, doilies, paint, handmade flowers, chipboard, lace, beads, stamps and glimmer mist.  Mounted the banners on cardboard that I distressed and misted, put that in a painted and inked frame.  Here is the finished product!

I love the way it turned out, it is perfect for my not-so-empty-wall!!

GJS Reveal!!!

 

Today is the day I posted my first project for Genuinly Jane Studios!!!  You can see the post here...http://www.genuinelyjanestudios.com/blog/some-romance/ :)

 

This is the cover, I used a combination of Graphic45 and 7Gypsies paper (both older lines).  As you can see I did a lot of distressing and inking!  I also used some modeling paste with a stencil and painted some glimmer mist on top of the modeling paste.  I used glimmer mist on the doily and the bird.  I colored the pearl with Liquid Gold in copper.  The flowers I put glue on the tips and added some Pearl ex.

The inside I used a lot of the same product and techniques.

I wanted the doors to be able to close so I didn't add as much dimension here.  I cut slits in the black and white paper so you could see the couples.  I also did some stamping.

Sketchabilities!!

It is finally time for my to share my first layout for Sketchabilities!!!

 

Here is the sketch...

 

Here is what I did with this very cool sketch!

I used a lot of paper and embellishments that were left in my September My Creative Scrapbook!

 

Here is a close up of the flower cluster.  I added some twine and thread under the flowers.

A close up of the background...I used stamps, stencil with modeling paste, and distress stain!

Gorgeous right?!?! The paper is Prima Anna Marie...and look at all those flowers!!!  This kit will not disappoint!

 

Last is the MAIN KIT....this is the kit I got to play with this month! 

You do not want this kit....you NEED it!!  We R Memory Keepers Chalkboard paper and embellies, along with some MME Chalk embellies!   The possibilities  are endless with this kit!  I made SIX pages and could make more what I have left!

My Creative Sketches New Sketch!

 I used the My Creative Scrapbook August Album Kit to create it!  I did not do my normal ink and distress, and I have to say it was fun and I am so happy with how it turned out!!
