MCS Reveal day!!!

Last is the ALBUM kit!!  This is the kit that I played with!  It has the Allison Kreft collection Websters Pages!  This kit has so many embellishments, making it so fun to create with!!

I not only make a the mini album, but I also had enough product to create 4 layouts!

 

Today I am going to show you my mini album. 

True story...I had printed lots of photos from a photo shot I just had with my son, I had a title picked out and was ready to start creating....but it was late so I went to bed and was going to start the next day.  That night I had a dream that I made this album about my son and his dog....so here is my mini...

My dream came true!! 

(hehe)

A Tutorial...

Here is how I made my flowers into a cluster..

1. Start with two flowers and twist the wires together.

2. Keep adding flowers, twisting the wires together as you go.

3. Wrap floral tape (found at craft stores or Walmart) around the twisted wires for a finished look.

Before I added the clusters to my page I wrapped the ends of the wrapped wires around a pen...

MCS Sketch Challenge

 

A new sketch is up at http://mycreativesketches.blogspot.com/! 

 

This sketch was so fun to play with!  I just loved the layers!  I created this layout using the fabulous Album Kit for July!

I have a tutorial that I will share on how I made this flower cluster!



 

 I added some liquid pearls to these cute little butterflies for a little dimension!

Hello There Handsome

 

 

Here is my second layout for http://mycreativescrapbook.com/.

 

 

Theflower and the alpha stickers were both originally pink, but I used paint to make them red.  Since I used a doily, floral paper and a flower, I decided to add some bricks (with a mask and ink) to the background to make it a little more masculine!

My Creative Scrapbook July Kit Reveal!!

 

Yeah!! It is time to reveal the July kits at http://mycreativescrapbook.com/!! 

 

The Main Kit this month is so fun!! It features Simple Stories Summer line!  This kit captures summer perfectly!

 

 

Next is the Creative Kit!!  Look at all the fun and bright colors in the Little Yellow Bicycle Poppy paper and embellishments! 

 

Here we have the Limited Edition kit!!  This kit is packed so full of beautiful papers and embellishments!  Look at that pretty Basic Grey Plum Seed paper and all those Prima goodies!!

Finally...the kit I got to play with this month...the Album Kit!  

 

The paper line with this kit is Basic Grey Mint Julep and look at all the goodies included!  I had a lot of fun creating with this kit!  I made 5 layouts and 1 altered item!

 

Here is the first layout...I did a lot of cutting and punching with the paper and embellies to make this!  The frame around the photo wasn't originally big enough to fit my 4x6 photos and I didnt really want to crop the photo, so I decided to cut the frame to stretch it out a little and I covered with some of the embellies from the kit! 

 

I will share another layout tomorrow :)
