May Design Team Projects

Its reveal time at http://mycreativescrapbook.com/!!
This month the album kit was packed full of Simple Stories 24/7!!  I loved the color combo of this collection...and the embellies were so fun to work with!

I was able to create FOUR layouts and a altered frame with the kit!

This first layout I used Distress stain to mute out the colors of the pattern paper.  I used the burlap hearts as templates to create the hearts with the burlap paper!

The collection came with a piece of paper that was all hexagons.  I cut all the hexagons out with an exacto knife, that used that as a stencil.  I used modeling paste and a chevron stcncil inside some of the hexagons.  Than I used a white pen and traced the hexagons.

The kit came with two chipboard circles that I used as templates to create the circles on this page. To make the banner I used the stickers and chipboard, along with some hand cut banners!

Since the kit is an album kit, it included a pocket album.  I used the pockets on this page to keep some little treasures from my little boy in it!  Tutorial coming soon!

For my last project I used a canvas backwards inside a frame!  I used just about everything from the kit here!

BoBunny Sketch Challenge

The challenge over at the BoBunny blog is an awesome sketch created by DT member Sam Wright.  It was a very fun and easy sketch to work with!

I used the Hello Sunshine line and came up with this...

Layouts :)

After seeing this paper, I reluctantly agreed to go camping.  I knew that I could get some photos to use :)  It is Simple Stories Take A Hike, and it is perfect for dirty little boy photos :)

**some of the stickers are from the paper studio**

I also made a lo with pics of my little boy holding some carrots he grew last year, he was so happy!

**the garden stickers are from so long ago, I have had them in my stash since I started scrappin, not sure how to use them...I think it works here!

My Creative Scrapbook Creative Kit

I was asked to create a mini album with the Creative Kit for April, the kit was packed full of BoBunny Surprise!  I choose to use photo's from my little boy's first birthday since they matched the paper perfectly!

I could use any album I wanted so I combined two different shapes and created this...

The bright colors and fun patterns in this paper made it so easy to work with!

Exciting News!!

After months of being a guest designer at MyCreativeScrapbook...they have asked me to be a part of the team!!!  So each month I will be creating projects with the Album Kit!!

Here is the Album Kit I used for April...

I was able to create 2 mini albums with this kit!  The first one I used photos from a vacation to Myrtle Beach!

When I saw the album in the kit I knew I had to make a house mini album!  I added some family photos!

I still had enough supplies left to make this layout!!
