Sketch Challenge

This is my take on a sketch over at http://sketchesinthyme.blogspot.com/

 I just love the way it turned out!  I used Echo Park paper, it makes me happy that it is winter paper that is so bright and fun!

Here is  simple layout I made with Echo Park paper =)  It is a photo of my little boy last christmas after he opened all his gifts, I thought the title "tis the season to be jolly" was perfect!

I did and used alot of on this layout!  I was going for a very grungy/manly look since it is a photo of my two favorite guys =)

I dont remember what line of paper this is but it matched my photo perfectly!

When I saw this photo I knew I had to scrap about his stubborness and how he comes by it naturally! 

I used my WER Memory keepers Anthologie 6x6 paper pad to make it!   

I had so much fun with this layout!  When I bought this paper I knew that I would be scrappin this photo with it! 

The tags have been glimmer misted and ran thru my big shot with a cuttlebug embossing folder. 

Family Day Mini album

This is a mini album that I made about our first family day we had (a long time ago!)

I used cardboard as the base of the album and I distressed it by pulling off layers and than inking.

The right side is ashorter paged that has a mini that opens up for more photo space!

 

The right side opens up under the photo and has another photo and some journaling.

The right page has a flip mini album with even more photos!

 

The right page is a pocket with you....yes, more photos!

The last page the photos are an accordian fold out mini ;)

I have been busy!

Here are some of the layouts that I have finished lately! 
I had scrapper burn out lst month, but than we went on vacation and when we came back I was ready to scrap!!

The first layout is for the sketch challenge at  http://mycreativesketches.blogspot.com/ I used some basicgrey paper and paper studio flowers.  I also added some glimmer mist...the paper had a lot more purple than I wanted so I had to tone it down some!  I slo added some prima wood gears and paper studio brads, love the way it turned out!

The second layout is fancy pants!  I have been trying to use some 6x6 paper (since I keep buying them ;)....so that is what I used here, along with some die cuts from the collection.  I even used some stamps!  I stamped the word COOL in the title (yeah me!)...

The last layout is a photo from our beach vacation (3 years ago)....I used some very old basicgrey with some Kaisercraft flowers.  I dont remember where the transparency die cuts are from???  I distressed some cardboard with and paint for the background too!
